The second book in the Secret Book and Scone Society was a hit for me. I felt the pacing in the first book was really slow but it certainly picked up in this book. This review will be short because I honestly cannot remember too much about the book as I read it a while ago and neglected to write my thoughts down, but I do know that I enjoyed this book much more than the first one.

This is the first book in the Otter Lake Mystery series. It’s a hilarious cozy mystery with the type of characters one could easily become best friends with and takes place in an richly described environment. I adored this book and laughed out loud more times than I can count! If you are a cozy mystery junkie and/or love the genre, this is a must have for you! As with any book I fall in love with, I went out and purchased the rest of the series because I enjoyed this one so much! Highly recommended
