An unforgettable one-night stand filled with heat and passion starts the unraveling of a love-hate feud between a small-town baker and an arrogant cowboy.

When Katarina shows up at the Circle B Ranch Bed & Breakfast to serve her new gluten-free, sugar-free, organic pastries, Braxton decides to make her life hell for kicking him out the next morning and then pretending he never existed.

First step, make fun of her tasteless muffins.
Second step, get revenge.

Soon the duo are at each other’s throats, getting even until things go too far and the chemistry burns too hot.

Kat claims their night together meant nothing.
He’s determined to prove her wrong.

**This was originally on the Read Me Romance podcast, but has been extended with bonus scenes. This can be read as a standalone, no other books are needed to enjoy this story!**

I don’t know how they do it, but each and every book I read from Kennedy Fox becomes a top favorite for me! It’s like they know exactly what I want each time I pick up their latest releases! As I said in some other reviews of their books, they can write angsty, emotional romances AND humorous, lighthearted reads- it doesn’t matter which trope because they slay it every time! If you haven’t had a chance to read this one I recommend grabbing a copy because it is free on amazon.

Roping the Cowboy was first released on the Read Me Romance podcast and then published as an eBook. It’s the first book in the Circle B Ranch series but can stand alone. The stories are interconnected but you can read them in any order. As I always say though, I recommend reading the series in order so that you won’t be spoiled when it comes to previous characters relationships.

This particular book is a novella. I read it in about an hour so you can breeze through it in the same amount of time. It’s a nice little prequel to the series. The trope featured in this one is enemies-to-lovers and let me tell you, you can almost FEEL the hatred between these two! Not only that, their banter and interactions will have you howling in laughter! The pranks they play on each other are hilarious!

If you’re looking for a book like I described above then you won’t want to miss this one! I can personally recommend nearly all of their books (I haven’t read them all but I will!).
