My Rating :
Getting pregnant after a booze cruise hookup was not what any parent wanted to hear, so I picked up my entire life and moved to Paris to start over. Six years later, I was ready to go home.
I was a single mom and the only thing I knew about my son’s dad was his name—Luca. I didn’t need to know anything else.
The universe had other ideas because on our second day back home, the man came crashing back into my life.
Attending a welcome back party for my boss's daughter wasn’t how I wanted to spend my Sunday. But walking in and seeing my hookup from a cruise six years ago knocks me on my ass.
It was a weekend of fun and now I'm seeing a pair of eyes, identical to mine, staring right at me. The boy standing next to her is my son.
Now we’re living next door to each other and attempting to co-parent something that would be easy to do if the pull that brought us together wasn’t still there making things more complicated.
For six years she haunted my dreams, now she's haunting my every waking moment.
I let her get away once, now I want to make her mine.
This time, permanently.
Only one thing left to do. I have to tempt the hookup.
When I first heard that Natasha Madison was writing another book in the Tempt series I was stoked! She always manages to deliver smart, sexy, and giggle inducing romances and there is no question that the same applies to this book. Tempt the Hookup is a second chance romance between two people who met on a booze cruise 7 years prior and come face to face at a work event. Little did either know that the other was going to be there, and the surprises that both seem to have hidden all these years come back full force.
Overall, I loved this book. I devoured it in less than 24 hours because it’s an easy read and kept my attention from beginning to end. I loved how this book is not loaded down with drama (it’s actually quite lighthearted and simple) and really enjoyed being on the journey of second chances with Eliahn and Luca. I also love a book about an accidental pregnancy and Natasha hit it out of the park here. A lot of times authors throw in so much unnecessary drama with this trope and make the book feel dirty and cheap, but that’s not the case here. I also want to mention the amazing group of secondary characters. What a fun group of people! I’m hoping more stories will be coming in the future.
If you are a fan of Natasha Madison, this is a must read! If you aren’t familiar with her books or have only read a few I want to suggest grabbing this series immediately. These books are FUNNY. Especially the first book Tempt the Boss, which had me laughing so hard I nearly peed! This one is funny too, but there are only a few parts that actually had me giggling uncontrollably (like a wax anyone? How about some face cream?). Bahaha- so funny!
