My Rating :
Her time is over.
Things are looking up.
She’s dirty and ugly.
He’s wicked but handsome.
Six months to toy with her.
Six months of vacation and a ton of money.
I’ll hurt her beyond repair.
I’ve been through much worse.
She's difficult to control and doesn't obey.
I'm done submitting to anyone or anything in this life.
I should hate her.
I should hate him.
The game has changed.
I will win.
Dirty Ugly Toy is a novel that blurs the lines of right and wrong, deals with abuse, contains dubious consent, and adult subject matter. If you are sensitive to violent sexual situations, the book may not be suitable for you. Some parts of this book are not easy to read and are not intended for everyone. However, those that keep an open mind and stick with it will not be disappointed.
This is the first book I have read by the author; K Webster, and I am now eager to see what else she has to offer. I mean WOAH. This book really tugs at the heart. It is extremely dark (there are a lot of instances of abuse) and blurs so many lines in terms of right and wrong that my head was spinning! At first, I wasn’t sure if I was ever going to take to the “hero”, Braxton. He is mean, cunning, and sadistic. But the author really proves that one can be evil and a truly great human all at the same time. YIKES! This is a really great book and one that I highly recommend to ANYONE who enjoys a darker but sexy read.
“Bunny” is the heroine of this story. Having had a tough life (you must read the story to find out WHY) she eases her pain by using heroine. Being drug addicted, Bunny will do ANYTHING to get her next fix… So when a car pulls up offering her $500,000 to spend 6 months with the man inside, she knows she has hit the jackpot. But this man has something else planned for her… And Bunny doesn’t realize the trouble she is about to endure…
Braxton doesn’t like to see women selling their bodies for their next fix. So he has made it his life to “fix” these women by making them his toys. Being a toy means these women will need to do anything he wishes (sexually etc.) for the time they spend with him, and he will then reward them with payment. But he gets more than he bargained for with Bunny. Because instead of being meek and doing everything he desires, she is feisty and not afraid to say something. Will Braxton’s dark side turn her away from the money? Or will these two suffer together through their dark days and pasts?
For those who are intrigued about this book (read it, read it!), make sure you have some tough skin because this one definitely pushes the boundaries. Readers will go on a dark and twisted journey with these two damaged characters, and they may or may not like what happens to them. At some points while reading, you may have to look away from the pages. Because this book is DARK. At other times, your heart will swell with joy. Do you dare to read it?? I highly recommend it. But be sure to listen to the warning attached.
