My Rating :
Trent Mask puts the REV in revolution.
A line has been drawn.
Indie vs Pro
Here at GearShark, we’re straddling that line to bring you exclusive coverage of what some have dubbed the war of racing.
Every war starts with a spark and ends in revolution.
Drew Forrester was the spark,
but his second-in-command is the REVolution.
What does it take to stand brave in the face of opposition?
Resolve of steel…
And a heart that refuses to give up.
It isn’t just the drivers in this war.
The revolution is about more than just racing.
It’s about shattering labels and taking risks.
So we asked Trent Mask: Truth or Dare?
*This is book 2 in the GearShark series and the books MUST be read in order.
Read my book review for #Junkie (Book 1 in the Series) ➝ Junkie Book Review
This is the beautiful conclusion to Trent and Drew’s story. This makes me a little misty eyed because I really connected with these two on an emotional level. Both have opened my eyes and heart into a new kind of love… Not a gay love (I never had a problem with who one loves, two males, two females, male and female- doesn’t matter to me because #loveislove), but an undying, and beautiful love that everyone should experience. The kind of love that opens your soul and makes your heart weep because it is so strong. Wow, I truly loved this series. Especially this one.
The first book in this series (#Junkie) brings a new relationship to our viewing pleasure about two males who are best friends and fall head over heels in love with one another. Us readers get to experience their inner emotions, the feelings they are trying to hide from one another, and the final culmination of their relationship as two souls who are destined to be together finally become one. But within #Junkie, we just learn of the beginning of the relationship. While of course this M/M relationship is in the front of our minds, #Junkie really focuses on Drew, his racing, and the beginning of their budding relationship. In #Rev, we get so much more. You see, #Rev really focuses on the inner turmoil, the hate, and the concerns that these two men have to face after they finally come clean to the ones they love about how they feel. We get a personal look as to how they deal with the hate, and how even though there are a lot of people against them, they are stronger. What I loved most about this book is how you can really feel their emotions. I wanted to cry with the characters, I wanted to rage out on the ones who caused the pain, and I wanted to be there with them as they tell each other it’s all going to be okay… Hard, but okay.
Overall, this is one of my most favorite and beloved series I have ever read. Cambria Hebert is now my #1 favorite author of all time. I don’t know how she does it, but she satisfied my reading cravings all within a couple of pages. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next, but I know in the future that she will be giving us Arrow’s story and HOPEFULLY Joey’s as well. If you haven’t read this series yet, then I strongly recommend it. Its beautiful, emotional, sweet, and touching. #TrewLove FOREVER!!!!
