I met my true love when I was twenty-seven. He was handsome, charming, witty, and irresistible. Jayden Monroe came along when I was struggling with indecision and made things simple, turned monochrome into vivid color, and forever altered my perspective on life.

I was not naive enough to believe in happily ever after, but with Jayden, it seemed possible . . . until I realized something wasn’t quite right.

You see, I met a man who would be anyone I needed him to be, and after I found out that fact, I knew it would be impossible to walk away. His disorder, however, would change everything I ever thought about love and what it truly meant to accept someone for who they are.

This is not my sob story; this is his success story.

This is an ADHD love story and is for mature audiences only. This book contains explicit sex and strong language.

“My passion for him for him was sweet poison in a way. I understood it better now more than ever and reveled in my love for him, knowing in the end it could hurt me to be with him.”

This is probably the best book I have read this year (and I have read a lot of amazing books). It tells the story of two people who were drawn together instantly. The love the found and shared with one another could not be broken even in the hardest times. Jayden is the man that readers want to dislike but can’t. He is a hard character to contend with but once readers really get into the story they find themselves having sympathy for him and fall in love. He suffers from ADHD and sometimes hurts Hilary in an emotional way, but this pain he causes is symptomatic of his disorder. Hilary is the character that reader love wholeheartedly. She is kind, understanding, and sweet. She loved Jayden in an unconditional way even though she has a hard time dealing with him sometimes. In the end, the two ultimately work together to make a tough relationship work though, and readers will be as happy as they would had they been living within the lives of these characters.

Author Kate Stewart has woven an intense yet beautiful story here. Readers will find themselves feeling a myriad of emotions from heartache to full blown love. They will laugh, cry, feel anxiety, and fall in love all within a span of 270 pages. In addition to this, the author was able to spread the story out so that we got a full picture if the characters’ lives in the present and future without leaving us wonder how their loves got to where it did in the end. This book is a PHENOMINAL read, one I won’t soon forget. This my friends, is the type of book you pass on to friends and family to read. It is written so well, and gives us everything we need in a love story. It’s just plain amazing.

“Sometimes the things we are so sure of can suddenly turn into things we have to let go of in order to land on the road we were meant to travel.”
