My Rating :
Love the One You're Witch is the first book in the Magically Yours series. It falls within the chick lit and paranormal genres.
Sassy, snarky witch Anastasia Gregor does not work with vampires. Unfortunately, she forgot to tell her boss that. Now she's up to her neck (pun intended) in the night walkers as she attempts to help one family fix their love lives...and meets the enigmatic (and slightly cheesy) Lucas, quite possibly the sexiest man alive...well, sort of alive.
As what should have been a simple case gets complicatedly personal, Ana must prove the old Wiccan creed she lives by: "do no harm...but take no shtick."
WOW. I totally fell in love with this book. Move over Betsey (Queen of the Dead) we got another amazing heroine on the loose! Anastasia is a witch. She helps break spells that are placed on paranormal’s (werewolves, vampires, elves, fairies, etc.). When she goes to help break a love spell placed on a harmless vampire she doesn’t realize that love just may touch her too. Enter Lucas; tall, dark, handsome, and dead. He’s been looking for his mate for fifty years. So when Anastasia enters his home to clear the spell placed on his sister, he is put under a spell too, just one that his heart is casting on his own.
This book is just too cute! I really loved it and found myself comparing Anastasia to Betsey in the Undead Series (this to me, is a good thing). Anastasia is sassy, snarky, a total smart ass AND bad ass. I found myself laughing out loud in many parts. The writing style is superb and it is an easy yet, a fast paced read. I seriously hope that this book will continue on into a series as I need to see more of Anastasia and her handsome vampire friend, Lucas.
